Using Performance Telecoms Global numbering service enables your company to present an international telephone presence in over eighty countries worldwide; without the costs & implications of being physically located there.
Essentially there are three types of International numbers available, all of which offer different benefits when promoting your organisation.
International Free phone (ITFS) most have the prefix 0800 and are recognised as the indigenous free phone or toll-free number. Each country number will be different and that number can only be called from the country they have been set up in.
Universal Free phone (UIFN) Very similar to the indigenous numbers, except each country number will be identical, allowing you to publish a single free phone number across many countries. Again, the numbers can only be dialed from within the country they have been set up in.
International Regional (PSTN) These numbers correspond to a local or regional place within a country. Callers will dial the number in the same way they would call a local number in their country. Numbers are available in many countries throughout the world. Unlike free phone numbers, PSTN numbers can be called internationally by dialing the country code first.
